Bella

We have a girl gerbil named Bella.  We worked hard to fill our jar with cubes by being good.  It was a little jar, but it still took a long time.

Here are some things you should know about Bella.

1. She has a really long tail.

2. She likes to sleep a lot.

3. She likes to roll around our classroom in her ball.

4.  Sometimes she spins in her wheel.

5. She likes to bump into stuff when she's in her ball.

6. One time she went into the classroom next door.  They tried to keep her.

7.  Sometimes she escapes out into the hall.

8.  She almost got out of her ball one time.

9.  She acts crazy.

10. She is really soft.

11. Sometimes we get to pet her.

12.  She will bite or scratch when she gets scared.

13. She eats a lot of food.

14.  Her food looks like Fruit Loops cereal.

15.  We took her outside to the busses with us once.

16.  She always tries to run away when we put her in her ball.

17. She squeaks when she gets scared.

18. She is fast.

19. She climbs in her tubes really fast.  

20. She carries her bedding up to her food bowl  and up to her nest to keep her warm.
